We are a dedicated consulting firm specialising in Logistic and Change Management.
The company provides consultancy support to selected international corporations. It specialises in designing programs to build institutional capacity for partner nations, including assessing capabilities and designing engagements to improve capacity. It will also support nations in enhancing their management and logistic processes through extended visits and on line consultation.
IWM (Log) Ltd: Experience
Iain Macarthur has over 35 years’ experience in managing the delivery of logistic support to the British Military. Initially specialising in transportation for the Army, he was later responsible for the full range of logistic support for deployed operations and subsequently for life support within the UK. His last 5 years were focussed on support to all three services, including direct support in theatre during Gulf War 2.
That experience led to an invitation to act as a consultant to an international corporation specialising in providing specific advice and support to other nations looking to improve their institutional capacity.
Over the last 17 years, he was worked in over 10 countries, including Kuwait, Mongolia and Botswana. Initially employed as the Logistic Subject Matter Expert (SME), he has also worked on improving management processes, seeking greater efficiency and accountability.
He has experience in Management Process Analysis and Change, Acquisition, Sustainability and the full range of Equipment management.
The normal approach is an initial scoping study, leading to an agreed program of work to deliver the required capability, normally through repeat visits over several years.
